My Name is Quinton Bennett and I am the first born of a single mom of 4. I'm attending Northwest Railroad Institute to not only better myself as a young man but to also help my mom with supporting my younger siblings. At one point I saw myself going down the wrong path but after witnessing so many of my friends being locked up and even killed I realized that was not the life that I wanted for myself. I am a big brother and a role model to my siblings so I decided to change paths and graduated high school with a new dream and ambitions to one day attend a school that would allow me to go in to the field of rail road as I feel this will be a career path that I will grow in and advance into adulthood.
This campaign will not only allow me to ease the burdens on my single mother, but will allow me to transition from boy to man so that I can support myself while out of state attending school. The funds will be used to assist with my tuition in the amount of $16,900.00, room and board in the amount of $100.00/month, books, food and a plane ticket home after graduating in November 2019.
