L.E.A.P Learning Center @ The FCMC
As record numbers of Americans go online, the gap between those who have access to technology and those who don't is widening. With many educators pushing for students to use resources on the Internet with class work, parents who can not afford devices required to access the web are seeing their kids fall behind.

The First Congregational Methodist Church recognizes this digital divide and is building a learning center equipped with the latest technology to help bridge the gap. L.E.A.P is an educational program started by Pastor Paris L Smith Sr., to help develop children by simply offering them a place to go and learn.

L.E.A.P provides educational summer camps, tutoring in all subjects from kindergarten readiness through middle school, educational tours, and before and after school care. In
addition to the trained staff, the youth will be introduced to positive role models within and outside the community on a weekly basis. It is our goal to inspire creative thinking and exploration, community service and leadership development.

We are raising funds to purchase 25-30 various computer devices (Tablets, Ipads, Chromebooks etc.) in an effort to build out a computer room. This will provide our community with the latest technology, access to the internet and help us close the digital divide in our community.

You can help us by making a small donation or sharing the goal with your friends and family who may be able to help.

Thank you,
The FCMC
