Charles Burns Studying Abroad To Fight World Hunger
Hello, my name is Charles III L. Burns.  I am currently a junior at the University of Kentucky studying Community and Leadership Development with a double major in Psychology and minor in theater.
Here is a little more about me:

I am in the United States Army Reserves, Big Brothers Big Sisters Advocate/Ambassador, University of Kentucky Ambassador, and I am currently serving as the Vice President of the University of Kentucky’s Chapter of a national organization called MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture Natural Resources and Related Sciences).  I am studying abroad in the Dominican Republic in a month from May 14th- May 28th  2016 to study agriculture, food, and the environment while participating in a service-learning project with a local community organization, exploring to identify the identity and culture of Santiago Domingo, and closely examine the Dominican Republic-Haiti relations near the Batey Libertad (Haitian Market) and Mercado Dejabon (a large flea market near the Santiago and Haitian
border).

I am trying to raise $1500!  This will help me to be one step closer to fixing world hunger! I am thankful for everyone's support!

Thank you and have a blessed day!
