My name is Braelyn Bowles, I am eighteen years old, and an aspiring esthetician planning to train at Ogle School of Hair, Skin, and Nails. During my adolescent years beauty, and skincare had always intrigued me. However, I dealt with my own set of skincare issues that briefly took a toll on my self-esteem. In the midst of my experience, I was able to prevail, and developed a passion for healing others while improving their daily lives, and helping them regain confidence in themselves from the inside out. My ultimate goal as an esthetician is to not just have my business for personal gain, but to serve others, and my community by inspiring people to live a healthy, happy, and confident lifestyle.
Throughout high school I worked extremely hard maintaining a 3.8 GPA while participating in extracurricular activities, and volunteering in my community all while working. Unfortunately, both of my parents’ income just isn’t enough money to completely pay for my education and still maintain a household suitable for my younger sister, and the rest of my family. I have applied for scholarships, and grants but it still doesn’t cover the full cost of my tuition. I am in need of $13,865.00. This cost covers my tuition, books, equipment, and supplies.
Contributing to this campaign would mean the world to me. This campaign would take some of the load off my parents and allow me to transition into young woman that is self-sufficient, and fully dedicated to my training so that I can graduate successfully in January of 2020.
