YOU CAN'T GET WHAT YOU DON'T ASK FOR

Asking other people for money can be difficult. The reality is, if you don't ask for it, you may not ​receive it. Below are some tips that will improve your chances of getting donations

• Simply sharing a post is not enough. You must ask for a donation in the post.
• Send personal messages via email, text, or IM asking for a donation.
• Tell potential donors who already has donated and how much.
• Pick up the phone and make a call to friends, family and other close associates. Ask for the donation.
• Send follow ups to people who said they would donate.
